Foxeer Micro Toothless Predator V4 Micro Full Case Full FPV Camera Full Review - The Foxeer Predator V4 Micro Full Case is an analog SD 1000TVL camera with CMOS sensor. It ships with a 1.7mm lens and provides a 150° FOV on the diagonal. Onboard the The Foxeer Predator V4 Micro Full Case,It has the standard Foxeer integrated OSD and voltage sensor. The The Foxeer Predator V4 Micro Full Case advertises a very low 4ms latency, 4:3/16:9 switchable aspect ratio, and super wide dynamic range. It’s switchable between NTSC and PAL. The input voltage accepts anywhere from 5V up to 20V, voltage spiking should not be a problem when powering directly from a battery. It’s available in two colors (red, black) . The 8mm threaded mount makes it easy to switch lens if you decide the 1.7mm isnt what you wanted. The camera originally shipped with a 1.8mm lens in earlier versions.
In the box, you get the camera, a connection ribbon for a TBS Unify VTx, the OSD joystick and a connection cable for it, a mounting bracket, bracket screws, case screws, and a user manual.
The default frame size is 4:3, but the sensor is a 16:9 sensor, making it easy to switch between the two frame sizes. In 16:9 mode, you gain some picture on the left and right sides that was previously being cropped out. The camera defaults to PAL, but can be easily switch to NTSC for those that are in a country where that is the standard..
Foxeer Toothless is the new camera with big 1/2 inch sized sensor. Other cameras that have similar sized sensors are Caddx Ratel and RunCam Eagle with 1/1.8″ CMOS sensor, probably the best cameras in terms of picture quality on wide range of the lighting conditions. Foxeer Toothless also has the big M12 size 1.7mm lens with a FOV-H of 145° and its sensor is 4:3 aspect ratio natively. Toothless is capable of switching between 4:3/16:9 and PAL/NTSC and has OSD and joystick control as all modern cameras.
