World Drone Prix Qualifying - Practice Session

Video from the first practice session in the Dubai World Drone Prix. Sun began to set as Thomas started his one and only practice session on the track. Keep in mind all pilots only got 5 mins on the track, so hence the caution in their flying. If you crashed out, that was the end of your session
As far as a track goes wow!! What an insane track to fly. You’ll notice on some occasions Thomas will abort in a big way, that was because of the issue of video and also the loss of control link due to the TBS Crossfire needing to be updated, which Trappy actually personally did for us . . how cool is that.
Today is the actual race, we have to come up with a strategy to make sure we can get through and complete the 12 laps of this massive circuit with hopefully one pitstop. That’s not going to be easy to do on the setup we have and the fact that the HD camera will be drawing power from our Pack.
We haven’t had any rest at all and Thomas was coming down with a cold and feeling pretty sick. Hopefully he will be close to 100% before the race.

TBS - Trappy himself messaging me and explaining how I needed to use his TBS Crossfire System and making sure he got it to our team for us to install.
TrizFPV - Printing off banners and Stickers for BMSweb. Didn't ask for this he just did this for us and got it delivered before our flight.
MISK - Our Hair Dresser who squeezed us in for haircuts before our flight.
Thomas' Teachers - for helping Thomas out with his workload and making sure he has homework to do in Dubai
And finally to all our friends (You guys) and our family, thanks for coming together to offer so much support and help.
Also to all the awesome people we’ve met while in Dubai, I can honestly say we’ve enjoyed your company and it will be so sad to say goodbye to you all
Anyway I have to go to bed as it’s past midnight and it looks like we’re racing today lol
